I had so much fun building my 4pis that I am looking at another application behind my projection screen. But because of heights I cannot control, the listener would be 6-degrees below the horn's center line.

What might I expect for off-axis performance in the vertical? Would it be better to tilt the speakers down 5 degrees, or leave it alone?

Illuminati (33rd Degree)

Listening 6° below the forward axis centerline is perfectly fine. That's well within the arc of the forward lobe. You can tilt it down if you want, but it isn't necessary. It will sound exactly the same as straight on axis.
