When I first got this, I mostly played the accompanying CD while doing other things. Not impressed. Last night I sat and seriously listened to the LPs. Mostly, I like it, especially the guitar work. No one has a cleaner sound than Knopfler. He would have been a great Jazz guitarist, technically excellent and inventive.

Bill, if you don't have it I would suggest getting the Screenplaying album. It has some really good music in it. Quite a variety also. There is a very good rendition of Goin Home at the end of it. Which was one of Dire Straits signature songs.
