Recorded in 1977 this is sooo natural sounding and the music, Funk, is fantastic. These guys were obviously having fun. Wow!

Cab Calloway......... Stuff fromt he twenties and thrities " spoof" songs are great. Spike Jones,, I ownder if they are going to ever make a reissue of the albums.

Found 110 items under Spike Jones on E-bay. I used to love his TV show.
If you read my XLH review you know I'm a huge fan of Cab Calloway, too.

Spike Jones didn't have a television show.......... He was on as a guest on a few shows but all he had a radio show.
I guess I am just older than some.........

My dad had some of the originals........

Spike Jones and his City Slickers bring back lots of memories. I used to listen to him on radio when I was a kid. I remember a lot of the old radio shows. They required you to supply something which is almost forgotten today.....imagination
