I want to start building a personal library of great movies. What would you name as your top 4 or 5 movies that everyone should own and not just rent?

5 is tough! Gimme 20! Off the top of my head I like: Warriors of Heaven and Earth --a Mandarin movie. Exceptional cinematography!!! three way tie: Apocalypse Now, Platoon, or Saving Private Ryan Shindler's List Lord of the Rings trilogy Clerks - just because it's low budget and stupid funny.

Serenity! was by far one of the best movies.............
lets see.....
Harry POtter.. number 2.. tehone with the Mandrakes.....
Fifth Element thogh I am not sure thats been within the last five years
Pirates of the Carribean, the first one was better than 2.........come to think of it oits been pretty small pickens.. Ok SAW 1 and 2 were good, SCARY MOVIE 4 was comical......... Now then we have The Weather Man, 8mm, a bit older but good, Bringing out the dead.... I am very picky in my movies these I still
rent......
