Hank Fonda did a great job explaining economics and union busting in this interpretation of Steinbecks Novel written about the exodus of the Okies from the dust bowl ridden farms of OK. He took the story of the Jews and the exodus from Egypt and placed it in a modern context. The acting is the best there is and the story is true and real as it gets. Good stuff.
Good point, matefork. I have seen a lot of artists go this way. The first stuff they produce is really good, they become recognised and famous, people expect more from them, but then they can't follow their earlier successes.
