Speaker addict still sells the Sammi cw77b10. http://www.speakeraddict.com/servlet/the-FULL-dsh-RANGE/Categories
You can get 34 of them for $135.

If you wanted to cut the flanges on the Dayton Neo 20FA's, its well known that the will quote you a good price. Right now they are on sale for $6.25, but if you bought 60 or more you might get them even lower, say $360 for 30 of them, 15 per side.

You probably already have a woofer for a sub but if not get one for about $139 for a 12 incher. My construction only cost me about $100 total for the PVC pipes, and the front faced oak and rear faced pine.

So assuming you already have a woofer, the speakers cost you $500.

On ebay you can get a Rane ac23 3 way electronic crossover for about $130. You'll need a pre-amp: get a used Kenwood, and pick up a sub amp, a low 20 watt tweeter amp, and a 175 w/ch amp for the mid ranges, all for about 400 if you watch and wait.

So you could probably build my system for a little more than $1000.
