I liked Abott and Costello go to mars. Yes here in the states they used to have a half hour situation comedy on once a week. Jerry Seinfeld has always said that their show was the inspiration for the Seinfeld show. They were always cooking up schemes to beat the landlord out of the rent. The landlord was Mr. Fields; a tough old bird who always had a cigar in his mouth at all times. He would say,"I'm wise to you two!" Then they had a friend Mr. Batchelagoupe and the Fruit and vegetable guy. Lots of strange characters would pop in and out like on Seinfeld.
