Eminence has raised their prices, yes. They've tried to keep costs low, but then again, that has meant some changes that I've had to deal with. One in particular is the LAB12 woofer, which I have had to stop using and instead use an OEM (PI-12) driver, specially made for me. The tolerances have changed, and the LAB12 as of about a year ago is not suitable any longer, so I have them build me a driver instead. In most cases, the cost changes are small and yet these incremental changes have eroded my (already tiny) protit down to nothing. That's why I had to raise prices just a little, to keep up. And they're not the only company I purchase from, all parts have gone up in the past few years yet I've not changed my pricing structure. The JBL drivers are more expensive, the coils, caps and resistors, everything has gone up incrementally. My price increases were small, just enough to cover the differences.
