Wayne or ? ... I finally have my version of your PI 7's going. They are P.Audio 150 2226 woofers (already had) in a 4 cu. ft. box. Hoping to get the recommended JBL's from you soon. They are in corners of a 13 1/2' wall. C to C is 10'. Top section is horns on a lazy susan for adjusting angles +- 45 degrees. Back wall is 27' away and opens up to kitchen/dining room. It's relatively dead with bass traps, etc. Working on dispersing front. Equal triangle listening distance is 10' from speaker wall and max is 17' from speaker wall.
Would you give me some guidelines as to the best start for listening position and toe-in? I've always thought that horns are better listened to at a greater distance than the normal equal triangle position. With two variables; distance and mid horn angles experimenting would take forever. Zene

Illuminati (33rd Degree)

The orientation shown at the link below is how these speakers were designed to be setup. This positioning method has been adopted by at least two other manufacturers that I know of. Try it, it really sounds good.
