Just for fun I increased the tweeter output cap (C2) to the 25uF value all the calculators give for 1600kHz. Added a 3.3uF Auricap to the 22uF Obbligato oiler. Only a few hours on them but it sounds horrible. Tinny. Makes the BatSpeakers sound like Fostex. Guess we know someone who'd like it, right Colin, Ron?

Bill, What is the impedance of your tweeter??? 24 ufd cap @ 8 ohms is for 800hz 1st order (6db/oct). Also, you need to get some oil caps for best results. Ron

I haven't yet finished listening to the Obblis enough to switch back to the Aeros and know the difference. Pretty soon. I'm also running the Auricap again when I'm not listening at night and in the early AM to see if break-in might yield a substantial change.

8 ohms 3rd Order Butterworth 1600, actually 1800 with 22uF; I really thought adding 3uF would make an immediate improvement, surprised it didn't; asking the 2226 to go to 1800, even 3rd order is asking a lot They are both oils, I invented oils in crossovers, ask anyone
