Hi Wayne: Do you have any plans to offer designs for more compact applications? I'm remodelling my home office in such a way that my desk is in a 7' wide nook with a window in front. I want to set up a pair of speakers in the corners above the desk (so only about 4' from my head) for listening to music while I work. Amp is a gainclone fed from a Presonus firewire box.I'd like something fairly compact, although they could be long and thin, and possibly a triangular cabinet to fit in the corner. Any ideas?

Thanks - high efficiency is not a priority for this setup, although good dynamics are. I find that my current system (Gainclone with tweaked Radio Shack Minimus 7s) is turned down almost to the lowest volume setting most of the time. I'll have a look at the Alpha 8 and a tall thin cabinet. tim
