The LS3/5a Stirling Broadcast Monitor is nice.
Did I mention nice? Its a $1795(USD) 83dB monitor?! This classic has history and is going to make money... lot's of money.
designer's - Derek Hughes, Maurice Whatton, I don't know the initial (original) designer for this speaker, maybe Wayne, or somebody else can help? It was the first synthetical cone (developed from an initial paper cone) in the market developed in house.
Wayne, what is the difference in practice (ampli/electrical) of the 15Ohm original classics and the 11Ohm modern time's. I know they used trafos (imped. transformers) instead of resistors or something similar.
