I liked the Motorola/CTS KSN1056 tweeter. It is the same thing as the KSN1038 except for cosmetic differences. But I do not like any of the copies, they all sound horrible to me. When CTS discontinued production, I looked for a replacement and couldn't find one I could live with.
Thanks Wayne . were CTS piezos manufactured in the CTS plant that was in Brownsville , Texas ? (very near where I live in the US/Mexico border). I trust in your answer because I bougth several models of piezos here in Mexico and they look all alike ( black tarnish plastic tone ) against the CTS polished black plastic tone I found them as a british look . once again thanks

I'm not exactly sure where the CTS plant was, but I think you may be right. I did a quick search on the internet and found CTS to be the parent company of a plastic injection mold plant in Mexico. The body of the tweeter is plastic and "Mexico" is printed on the back of each CTS tweeter, embedded into the mold, so it seems a likely connection.
