I have an ASL AQ1002/MG-PhonoDT. The amp is a push pull/EL34's. I have the eehaah folded TQWP/40-1354's. I use a Music Hall turntable with the original elan goldring cartrage. This set up sounds good to me listening to 50's 60's jazz, small classical and string band music. I listen to alot of other stuff like electronica some hip-hop. I've been discovering Mexican Pop and rock. Whatever, my taste is all over the place. I also have a Denon DRA-275R. I hooked up the small JVC speakers from my mini stereo to the Denon and they sound better than when hooked up to the POS JVC mini. I've been trying to build boxes for drivers I have moldering in the garage; rat shack fe103's, another set of 40-1354's(hawaii5-0's).
I'm saving sheckles for Pi4's to hook up to the ASL's and a better cartrage for the turntable.
So, I havn't heard the potential of this rig IMHO.
That's my review.
Ron
