I pay attention to details when it comes to audio and visual setup. I ensure that I read every instruction concerning every new device that I get and even go as far as making more research on ways to use them better.

I can't deal with struggling with handling a gear that I purchased because I didn't read the manual.
You are on the right track. Ensuring that one knows the basic details from whatever music equipment that they've got is very important. It is more like knowing what a car you got offers before going ahead to drive around.
