My scope is a tried-and-true Tektronics 2230. I've had it for years - decades - since the 1980s. Can't believe how time files; Seems like yesterday for me.
As for music content that's "fun to watch," the best stuff has bass notes that are shifted 90 degrees between left and right channels. Better when they shift between +/-90 degrees, cause that's a cool look.
One song like that is "Welcome to the Machine," by Pink Floyd.
