I'm not in the economic position to spend such amount on one piece of audio gear. Or a combination of all my gear. But if someone has a bank roll to roll on something like that without financing for years on end to pay the note. More power to y'alls.
I've used a Hafler 220 for my SS amplification since about 1986, soldering it up as a kit. I haven't had the least nudge to try and upgrade from it except some mono tube amplifiers that were kit built also. And at that, a tiny fraction of the cost compared.

But the audio bug is infectious. Mine played out over time until now where I'm happy with what I have and just listen to music whenever the notion comes over me. Which with age seemingly has diminished commensurate with age. I played the hell out my iterations of gear when I was younger. Like that old song, I don't get around much anymore, includes flipping on the gear to listen.
