Audio Advisor often has closeouts of mid to high end speakers and they do a lot of HT systems. I snagged several high quality speakers off them for about 1/3 the original selling price.

PI speakers would definitely work with a bit of adjustments. I am of the opinion that Wayne would definitely figure a way to make it work for him one way or another.
