Photographers may get hired in product photography as long as they have the experience, regardless of niche. However, the market seems to be more of a freelance than a regular one. In this field, expect that there are only a few companies that would hire a professional.
Yeah, that's right. I would say the services of such photographers would be needed when there is a new product from the company. They will need photos and even professional videos of the audio equipment to be taken so it can be used for marketing purposes. I'm not sure that it would be a steady job unless it is done by an agency.
