I totally feel your worry about Bose Soundlink models. It is not fun when one realizes that a speaker that they left fully charged has dropped some battery percentage when they needed to use it.

It was because of that reason that made me stop using the Soundlink Revolve+ in my studio in 2023. I can't deal with the battery issues because what I do is serious business.

Charles, my friend recently bought the Soundlink Flex 2 few weeks ago and have said that such issues with the battery is no longer there, but I've not got spare money to spend on a speaker right now. I will wait to see if he uses it for at least six months before I draw my conclusion, too.

Aside from the battery drain, I commend the sound quality of Bose Soundlink speakers. So, if it's the battery drain, that is your major concern. There is nothing wrong with giving them a trial first.
Thanks for your contribution. I have always admired the sound quality of their products, but my worry has always been the battery life. You said your friend got the Flex 2 some weeks ago. Would you care if you asked him again how good the speaker has been since then?
