I understand that many might be leaning towards the direction of cables, not having a major impact on sound quality, which I won't dispute that much. My take is that when you spend enough to get quality cables at a higher cost, there are chances that it will last longer than the normal cables.

This consideration is what some don't look at as the focus is always on the end part. I can't imagine changing cable wires every seven months when I can get one, which is going to last for two years or more.
