I think that Apple MacBooks are the right product to get if you don't mind spending once and for all for a great product.
I bought the M3 Pro version of the Apple MacBook last year for $2100 and it still functions optimally a year after. If that's above what you've budgeted for, I see value in also going for thr Air M4 version which costs around $1600. Good product that will surely deliver with some good quality built-in speakers that will give you a great sound experience.
So, I believe that getting a premium laptop for your daughter or any other need is much better than spending differently on getting a speaker. The feeling it gives alone is worth it. Trust me, you will be glad you follow this route.
