Hi Wayne,

Progress has been slow due to work commitments.
I was fortunate to acquire JBL 2226H drivers at very reasonable prices secondhand. Based on this, I've decided to build a modified 7Pi.

I need to apologize for revisiting a previously discussed topic, as I'm having difficulty understanding the implications. You mentioned that the H290C requires/benefits from baffle mounting, making Design A preferable. However, the original 7Pi design has no baffle, and I assume your crossover was optimized for that configuration.

To clarify: I intend to use your H290C horn, which I will order today. My question is whether Design A remains preferable without modifying your 7Pi crossover, even though Design B has no baffle and more closely resembles your original 7Pi design?

Thank you again for your guidance. Henner
