An aside to this image is that it reminds me of an art installation I remember from the 1970's that captivated me walking into. I think it was called something like, The infinity chamber or some such. Really cool reflections of lights with mirrors top, bottom and sides like you were suspended in space-time.

Anyway, with this read out from a Wolff & Hudson session goes into how our government is so entangled in its belief system of financial capitalism that the hastening of our dominant role in the world is eroding at a pace faster than ever. Thus the preoccupation with breaking up the countervailing economic forces occurring in the world are at the expense of our own domestic vitality.

Like a punch drunk prize fighter, out of shape and having lost their edge of skills is going into the ring to be cuffed around miserably by opponents. Our government doesn't get it. Instead of stepping back and rethinking our strategy. Bringing in a fresh approach to our conduct at home and abroad. We double down, say more money for the military, preserve the 1% interests above and beyond their true use. Which is minimal to the status of our economy.

The infinity chamber is like a metaphor for our reflection back on ourselves showing the same approach going out indefinitely, fading into nowhere.

America No Longer Makes its own Future.
