From the movie, Come and See. This article is about how the German political climate is all aboard with the NATO madness in Europe now to build up the military in the absence of the US having pivoted towards the China NATO madness. The author points out what the Nazi's did in the USSR during WWII was even a greater mass extermination of humanity than what all the extermination camps for the Jews were. That their atonement can never be truly reached ever. So the hypocrisy of the German government now along with the European NATO commitment is a shame to the memories of the past and a sham to the principals of the present. When the USSR dissolved in 1991 the build up of NATO commenced even more pulling countries into its fold. By design. The Russian military then was at its lowest level than ever.

There was never a threat to Europe from Russia. NATO was formed in 1949 while the Warsaw Pact was formed in 1955. Russia perpetually answering to the aggression of the west. The end of WWII was the beginning of the Cold War. A calculated effort mainly by the US to bolster our perpetual war machine economy. The Communist Soviets who were allied during the war and bore the brunt of destruction and death but tore the gut from the Nazi war machine became the pariah and threat to the western capitalist deep state after the war. Propaganda always needs a threat to sway public sentiment.

The United States and Europe have perpetuated this since then. Managing to protect the Nazi war criminals for the most part from justice and even utilizing them to a great extent by the US for the ones with technical prowess such as war criminal Dr. Wernher Von Braun for our aerospace program and others. The Russian movie Come and See is regarded as one of, if not the most powerful depictions of war and its effect on people ever filmed. Little known about it here in the west. A gut wrencher.
