One man alone, (along with his stooges) stands at odds with the world. I don't know of any greater example of how absurd this empire mentality goes to such great lengths at being the source of chaos and dysfunction to world harmony. Its a sickness of coast to coast proportions. With the tumor in Washington DC.

There is hopefully a glimmer of challenge to this Ogre and his creepy minions to diffuse his mania. China, the source of calm and reasoned, cooperative temperance is negotiating with their Asian counterparts, Japan, Korea, Indonesia to form a unified buffer to this bullying. They also along with Russia are aligned with Iran to try and stabilize the out of proportion threat of US attacking Iran on the ruse of they making nuclear weapons.

And in our own government, there is a push to gain enough republican backing to thwart this autocratic, dictatorial onslaught to our society.

We should take heed of what history has laid down with numerous examples of overbearing authoritarians gaining a toehold on government. It happens when economic conditions in a country become chronically oppressive to the population. And their governments have become ineffective to deal with it.
