It all depends on the finish, in my opinion. The cabinet isn't a difficult build, but the level of effort in veneering and finishing can be time consuming. Some people just paint the cabinet, and some do a great job of that. And a painted cabinet is much less time consuming.

I'll send plans so you can see what's involved in the basic box.
