R.Crumb, the granddaddy of underground comics from the 60's. Elevated the graphic art of comic strips and books into a social phenomenon with his satire and perverse take on culture and his own life through pen & ink.
As a kid I ate up the early paperback reissues of Mad Magazine. Featuring the inking of Wood, Elder, Davis and Kurtzman.
