Sound bars are highly compromised. They are designed to be convenient, but sound quality suffers as a result. There is no way to make a horizontal array loudspeaker sound good because of comb filtering.


Thanks for this Wayne; those were the exact thoughts I had. A good HT system should suffice without there being any need for additional accessories, right?
