Hi, Unfortunately in my experience the new remake is usually not as good as the original. I have several LPs from the 60s and 70s that have been remixed and released. None have the same sound and several have more distortion and generally sound cruddier (high tech term there Shocked

) than the originals. CDs especially made from vintage masters are usually IMO awful. YMMV
