That's cool, Bill. Do you happen to know a URL for this amp? I'd like to see it and know more about it. The price is right, puts it right in the same ballpark as the Zen, Paramours and the Stoetkit.

Did you see Eric's posts about EL34's, 6550's and KT88's? From what he says, there are lots of good options in this "family" of tubes. As long as you can change the bias voltage, you can swap them around.
