I've completed a headphone amp kit from Mapletree and I'm extremely pleased with it. Have not heard their preamps (there's four different models, two of them can come as kits), but if it's anything like the headphone amp, should be winners. Their Octal 6A preamp has received some very positive feedback. The price is certainly right, and Dr. Lloyd is very helpful.

I have no affiliation with company other than we're both Canadians ;-)
