Hi This kind of depends on your budget. For self powered ones something like the Audioengine A2 ($200 a pair) would be my choice. But there are lots that are cheaper. Creative, Altec, Logitec and so on can be had for anything from about $10 and up. I personally have never found any under about $40 to be worth listening to. I am rather picky myself and even though I seldom do PC audio, I use Polk Audio two ways driven by a vintage Marantz Solid State amp (30 W/ch).
