This is a great subject to bring up. Oddly enough, my wife and I were just talking about this the other day. Somehow we got onto the subject of our elementary school days and started talking about songs we used to sing for different subjects. Come middle school and high school though, the singing stopped (unless you joined chorus). I think a lot of kids (and adults too for that matter) would benefit from learning things by song.
