Bass response of the seven π cornerhorns is the same as the four π speakers. What's different is the behaviour of sound at frequencies above midbass. The corner loading of the woofer and the midhorn prevent any self-interference from nearby boundaries, so no flanking subs are necessary. You may still want to use more distant multisubs to smooth the deeper bass range, but the upper midbass and midrange are very smooth. Additional information follows:
