Mine is a specific frequency, but I've never bothered to see what. Remember when you used to walk into a room full of CRT monitors? That high pitched "whine", that's it. I've got a ceiling fan going over my head right now with a TV fairly loud in the other room and I can hear that whine pretty damn good. I guess I've learned to live with it. Certain frequencies of voices I have a hard time hearing. If someone is talking to my back it more often than not is mumbling to me.
