Hi Wayne!

I'm going to try out a new project since I've acquired a pair of JBL 2206J's and borrowing another pair to use in a clone of the 3-Pi system.

The cabinet is a vintage Marantz dual 12" cabinet (one of the 12" holes were used for a board to house 3 mids and 2 tweeters, I removed the board and there is mounting for both 12" drivers). The cab is approx 2.5 cu ft and has (2) ports 3 3/8" ID and 5" log for a approx tuning of 50hz and a estimated 3 db down @ 80 hz.

The distance between the center of the 2206's is 13" which means I have to cross over @ 1khz or lower, I'm thinking 800hz would work well here. I have a JBL 2447 1.5" compression driver I've been meaning to check out on a 500hz round Edgarhorn and think this experiment is worthy of the time and trouble since I have all the components already.

Most of my working knowledge of 2-way designs have originated from Pi designs, so I'm indebted to you Wayne for sharing your knowledge and experience!
