Hi Wayne,

I was thinking about trying this too, but the thing that put me off was listening to some HPDs and realising how good a well developed crossover can sound.

I've heard other coaxes that had more rudimentary crossovers and it made me appreciate the work that went into the tannoy crossovers and I'm hoping that the 4pi's will sound (while not necessarily similar), just as coherent.

I'll plan to get a minidsp to try, but I plan to use it for digital EQ rather than as a crossover.

Do you see any issues with sound quality / driver safety, if I use that to boost the bass ?

Thanks,

Paul.
