I would imagine that if offered the spot, Eddie Murphy would take it. It seems like his roles are getting more "serious" these days, instead of funny. He may want us to see him in a new light. I think that would be too much, though. No one would take James Bond seriously anymore if he did that. Eddie Murphy was pretty funny, back in the day, though. And he could actually sing! I wonder why he didn't try to branch out with a singing career?
