Oh yes, sound can certainly make you sick. Sometimes it's the music that you are listening to that makes other people sick. Just like smells, different sounds evoke different reactions from different people. What's meat for one person is poison to another. Loud music may not be everyone's passion but for certain people, they would become disoriented if they were put in a silent room for an extended period of time.
