Sometimes I feel that cassettes are much better than CDs, and sometimes I think not.

I find that cassettes are much easier to control, when you need to rewind and forward to catch a certain part of a song you are learning on guitar or any other instruments for that matter.

I am a little afraid to do that on CDs because I heard that that could spoil your CD.

Is this true?
