Yeah well I would be sueing the pants off them; why should Syria shoulder that burden? It's insane. If Canada was invaded by Russia we shouldn't have to harbor half a million Canadiens on our dime right?
Another thing; why is it that the civilians suffer the most whenever totalitarian governments decide to invade peoples homes. Look at Iraq; over a million innocent people dead from our weapons; now exactly how is that fair or right?
