I don't have the foggiest idea who she is. I just couldn't believe that ANYONE would cover "Lay Down (Candles in the Rain)". Meredith Brooks must not be totally unknown: somehow she roped Queen Latifah into backing her on the song. I think that's QL chanting "C'mon . . . lay it down now" in the background.
