Y'know, I've been trying to figure out what version of Peter and the Wolf I heard as a kid, and as near as I can tell it was some version narrated by Jose Ferrer (orchestra unknown). God help me, the piece on the other side ("The Story of Celeste") was apparently narrated by Rosemary Cloony.
