Whaat?? I listen mostly to jazz now myself. Earlier in this forum I posted the fact that I have all these records from the last 40 yrs. and what to do with them? So I am systematically trying to listen to the mass of them starting with the older rock stuff. I still put the Jazz stuff on during the day but sit down and play a record or two at night.
BTW if you like easy listening jazz, Charlie Haden's Land Of The Sun is a gorgeous lush latin flavored jazz suite, with Gonzalo Rubicalda on keyboards and Joe Lovano on sax. I listen daily to it and have not grown tired yet. Very pretty stuff. It's on Verve, just came out.
