I haven't been paying attention, but I remember how nuts it was buying my son an X-Box around Christmas. Think that must've been two years ago. Everyone wanted them, even though some were said to be holding out for the next model. I think video games help youngsters develop reflexes and it keeps their senses sharp. I think video games improve alertness and help kids improve their minds, although not in the same way that academic learning does. I guess I'm saying that I think video games are good for kids, in general, and in moderation. But trying to buy a game system around Christmas time is definitely not good for their parents.
