I've kind of been a fan of off-beat quirky film. Those that might be shown at the local small seating "art cineplex's". Like Donny Darko, Ghost Dog, The Deep End, American Splendor, Ghost World, Rabbet Proof Fence. None are big budget. I'd seen Naked Lunch years ago, and yes, it's a bit too weird even for me. So was "Pi" for that matter. The brilliant main character takes a power drill to his noggin to release all the meany troubling thoughts stored up there.
