I agree with you that liberalism and conservatism are ideal. That’s perfectly fine, but are the ideals not under control from the parties?

The two main party views put me in the middle all the time. I like many things from the conservative side with some very strong dislikes and the same from the liberal side. So I just follow along, pick and choose and needed. Somehow it always feels like choosing the lesser of two evils. I wish that could change.
