Thanks for the reminder!

It's really amazing that a man of his genius went largely unrecognized during his lifetime, serving as a schoolmaster and town musician in a second-rate town, and was discovered or rediscovered only ninety years after his death. If I had to choose one "desert island" work, the St. Matthew Passion would have to be on the short list.
