I wouldn't hesitate on the 250's. The biggest fans of mine have all been female, and they all loved the way the 2002's sounded until they heard the 250's. I had one of each in for awhile, so it was ez to A/B them. I like them a lot better also, but assume women have better hearing in high frequencies. I'm using Wayne's stock xover design, but with all 'boutique' parts.
